Senior Network Engineer – SECOM
Jan 2017 – Jan 2023

Remote and onsite auditing, maintenance, design, administration, deployment, and support of all aspects of SECOM’s and SECPA’s corporate networking environment; OSPF, BGP, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, WiFi, firewalls, datacenter, and end point management. Utilized Ansible and GitLab CI/CD to orchestrate server upgrades and configurations. Responsible for supervising, guiding, and training junior engineers, ensuring the successful delegation and execution of numerous project tasks and responsibilities.

Test Bench Design Engineer / Networking Software Engineer – Actiontec Electronics
Aug 2013 – Nov 2016

Remote and on-site programming, administration, troubleshooting, and installation of Linux based testing
systems for ISP networking equipment. Designed and built testing solutions for DSL, fiber, and MoCA based network devices to transmit traffic across a controlled testing network to monitor and report any device malfunctions or behavior. Utilized GitLab for code version control and collaboration. Testing environments simulated a LAN to WAN topology for traffic ‘looping’. Traffic packets were transmitted in a complete loop across the LAN/WAN topology, and performance metrics were monitored and recorded to ensure devices performed at specification.
